The Design

João’s vision was realized by Martin Pilchner, of the world-renowned acoustic design firm, Pilchner Schoustal International. Martin’s exciting, innovative design was unhindered by usual obstructions, such as posts and pillars, commonly problematic in designing rooms. This building was purchased for its perfect dimensions and material composition with a solid wide open cavity, measuring 30’ x 50’ its 14 foot ceilings and exterior walls made from cement block with a 2.5' thick cement foundation. As a result, the studio was built to the most exacting standards. The mastering suite combines the latest in state-of-the-art equipment with all the creature comforts of an old English study. It is a beautiful facility filled with rich deep red leather, antique furnishings and gorgeous coffered cherry wood ceiling and walls.
